Product offerings will be streamlined under the Medica brand. Medica Medicare Advantage and IFB products will be available in Illinois and Missouri during annual and open enrollment this year and will replace WellFirst Health product offerings for plan year 2024.

Clients who are affected by this change will be automatically enrolled in the most similar plan option, effective Jan. 1, 2024. We encourage you to talk to your clients about this change and visit wellfirsthealth.com to review plan cost-sharing options at renewal to ensure the right plan for their health care coverage needs.
New Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) re-enrollment regulations specify that if your client is on a Marketplace Bronze category plan and qualifies for extra savings, they will be automatically re-enrolled into a Marketplace Silver level plan to help lower costs in 2024. Be sure to talk to your clients during renewal season about this opportunity.
